AURA bCurve Samples

This is a sample of some bCurves for use with the newly released Beta version of Aura, the fire and flame plugin for 3D Studio Max.
All I've done is render out a sample image of each curve to help give an idea of what each one looks like

Click on the images for larger sized versions, or better yet just use Download Accelerator Plus (or somethings equivalent to) "Download all with DAP" command.

bright-flame

Not quite as bright as it says, I suggest you turn up the brightness on this one to get it looking good. Unless you are looking for a fairly plain flame colour.

candle-light

pretty much what it says, a candle light flame. I have to admit this is quite a nice looking flame.

yellow-pink-purple-blue

Quite a good looking flame, I think that with some tweaking you can make this look quite realistic.

 

red-white-green

This is a trippy flame as it looks hollow in some parts and looks like there is smoke on the inside, an interesting effect.

Greenish

I personnaly like this flame, while not realistic this shader also looks good when you enable GI.

Qualm2

This smoke shader was created by Geddart, he has some good pointers on how to create thick good looking smoke, check out the Forum page.

Black-White

Fairly basic, but still good looking black and white smoke.

Galaxy

Created by Geddart, this can be made to look amazing. Look at the forums Here
